Preparation and consultation
You will undergo a few clinical examinations and measures from our surgeon. You can ask our surgeon any questions you have throughout the consultation. Any preoperative eyelid evaluation will involve an assessment of the orbital bone structure, a thorough ocular examination, visual acuity testing, a dry eye study, and the ability to close the eyelids successfully (lack of lagophthalmia). Our doctor will do a thorough clinical examination of the eyelids, which will include:
- Height of the top eyelids, the presence of the upper palpebral groove, and a skin-excess assessment.
- evaluation of the three fat compartments and the lower eyelid’s lubrication.
- Arrangement of extra skin, supporting tissues, and connected tendons at the relaxed level.
Anesthesia
Before surgery, our doctor will meticulously take pictures of your face. The procedure is carried out simultaneously on both eyelids in an outpatient surgery setting in the clinic while being administered local anaesthetic with sedation. You can enjoy a pain-free and comfortable operation thanks to these.
Incision
The initial step in eyelid aesthetics is to use a felt-tip pen to indicate the regions that need to be removed. In order to precisely evaluate the levels of the incisions, the doctor now requests your participation. The local anesthetic is then injected by the surgeon.
